The Armidale Rowing Club was founded in 1988 and provides sculling and sweep oar rowing for all in the Armidale and Guyra areas. We accept Open (18 and over) and Masters (27 and over) rowers. For junior rowers (13 to 17) please contact us for availability. Armidale Rowing Club is based out of the Rogers and Sypkens Boat Shed, which is located on Malpas Dam (approximately 30km north of Armidale).
The Armidale Rowing Club’s Learn to Row Course is designed to teach those who have never rowed before the basic skills involved with rowing.
If you have rowed at school or elsewhere and wish to row again, or if you are brand new to the sport, you’re welcome to join.
